French Wash

Porter's French Wash creates the look of delicate broken colour - a subtle, marble-like finish which was discovered centuries ago by the European Masters. This elegant, timeless effect can be created by both the professional painter and the home decorator using Porter's two-step water-based French Wash. Porter's French Wash can be tinted to any colour and we are happy top assist in choosing a colour or creating your own scheme.

Porter's French wash is a two-step system. Firstly, apply 1 or 2 coats of Porter's Low Sheen Acrylic and when dry apply the French Wash glaze. French Wash can be ragged, rag rolled, dragged or sponged to produce a variety of painted effects.

Porter's Low Sheen Acrylic can be applied straight over existing matt or low sheen paints, or over water based undercoats.
French Wash dries to a very low sheen, almost matt finish and is fully washable. If required, surfaces may be sealed with Porter's All Purpose Clear Sealer.

SIZE AND COVERAGE RATE:
A.2 part application.
1st Part - Porter's Low Sheen Acrylic covers approximately 15 square metres per litre. 2 coats recommended.
Sizes: 1L, 4L & 20L.

2nd Part - Porter's French Wash covers approximately 25 square metres per litre.
1 coat.
Sizes: 500ml, 1L, 2L, 4L & 20L.
