Lime Wash

Porter's Original Lime Wash is a unique lime based coating specifically designed to age with time to create a soft, weathered patina reminiscent of the houses of the Mediterranean and Tuscany. Porter's Lime Wash allows new buildings to blend in with existing surroundings and enhances the beauty of established buildings. Once the carbonation process starts, natural patchiness, uneven colouring, streaking and effervescence may appear. The curing process of Porter's Lime Wash will continue for approximately 12 months. During the life span of the coating colour variations will take place.

Porter's Lime Wash is suitable for application to absorbent, rendered surfaces, bagged brickwork, stucco roughcast, cement masonry blocks, concrete bricks, face and common bricks (not glazed) and with one coat of Porter's Acrylic Undercoat Sealer, can be applied to previously painted surfaces. Porter's Lime Wash is not suitable for wood, metal, glazed tiles and glazed bricks or non-porous surfaces.

SIZE AND COVERAGE RATE:
Covers approximately 8 square metres per litre depending upon porosity and texture of the surface.
2 coats recommended.
Sizes: Sample pot, 1L, 4L & 20L.
