Porter's Milk Paint is one of the most traditional finishes, popular in the 18th and 19th centuries for use on Shaker and country style furniture as well as interior and exterior surfaces. Made from milk mixed with pigment to produce subtle mellow colours, milk paints were traditionally used to protect and decorate woods, achieving a soft mottled appearance. Porter's Milk Paint is the only authentic milk paint produced in Australia. |

Porter's Original Wood wash subtly ages and softens the appearance of timber surfaces, highlighting the grain and replicating traditional liming or bleaching of timber. Wood Wash comes in a range of colours, including white. It is suitable for all bare timber surfaces, such as lining boards, shelving, furniture, floorboards and kitchen cupboards. Unlike other wood washes, Porter's does not contain wax, so a polyurethane or water based sealer can be applied to protect the finish. Porter's Wood Wash is applied directly onto unpainted, sanded timber. |
